Since
I was a child, I have always been into one form of art or another, I
loved plasticine, fuzzy felts, glitters and glues.
I was always pestering my parents for craft things to make.
My first real influences were my art teachers who encouraged me to
be creative when they noticed my passion and imagination.
I left school for a 9 to 5 job and put my love of Arts & Crafts
on hold, got married and had 2 wonderful Children.
30 years later, my children now married and settled, I found my
hands itchy for creation, my mind was bursting with ideas!
I "retired" in 1998 and decided to put all of my efforts
into doing what I love again.
I have been creating my little fairies and various craft gifts ever
since, selling them on ebay and at craft fairs.
I am always looking for new ways to utilise my talents and not so
long ago I was asked by a good friend to "Face Paint" at
her daughters birthday party.
I was a little worried as I had never done this before but by the
end of the party it was clear that I had found something new that I
could do.
Face Painting parties are now an ever increasing activity in my
calendar.
I LOVE my crafts and often go to bed thinking about what I will
create the next day, I put my heart into everything I do.
I am so lucky to be able to do something that I LOVE and I hope
this shows in everything I make. |
